Terms of Service

1. Scope of Services

BLHK provides interior design and styling services including, but not limited to:

• Color consulting

• Space planning

• 3D modeling and rendering

• Custom furniture design

• Moodboards and concept development

• Lighting and layout planning

• Interior & exterior space design (indoor and outdoor)
  All services will be outlined in a proposal before the project begins. Changes to the agreed scope may affect pricing and timelines.

2. Consultation Fees

• In-person consultations: $150/hour (Metro Detroit area only)

• Online consultations: $50 per 30-minute session
  These fees are non-refundable and must be paid in advance to secure your time slot.

3. Pricing & Payment

• A detailed project quote will be provided after the initial consultation.

• All invoices must be paid as follows:

  • 50% deposit to initiate the project

  • 50% upon delivery of final design assets or before final revisions

4. Revisions & Renders

• Each service includes a set number of revisions (outlined in your proposal).

• Additional revisions are available for an added fee of $100 per round.

• Additional renders can be requested at $150 per render.

• All revision requests must be submitted within 15 business days of deliverables.

5. Delivery Timeline

Estimated delivery times will be shared upon project approval and vary based on scope. Delays caused by client feedback, missing information, or outside vendors are not the responsibility of BLHK.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate measurements, photos, and information when required

• Review and approve deliverables in a timely manner

• Communicate clearly about budgets and limitations

• Handle purchasing, installation, and execution unless otherwise contracted

7. Refunds & Cancellations

• Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.

• If a project is canceled by the client after design work has started, the client is responsible for paying for time worked based on our hourly rate.

• If BLHK cancels a project (in rare cases), any unused portion of the deposit will be refunded.

8. Ownership & Usage Rights

All moodboards, renderings, drawings, and design files remain the intellectual property of BLHK unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients are granted permission to use these files for personal, non-commercial use only.

9. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy. All personal data, plans, and details shared with us are treated confidentially and will never be shared without your consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

BLHK is not responsible for:

• Construction errors, installation issues, or vendor delays

• Damages caused by third-party contractors or products

• Any physical work not performed directly by BLHK

Our services are design-only unless otherwise specified.

11. Updates to These Terms

These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. Clients will be notified of material changes if they affect current projects.
